A New Band to Check Out: Andy & the Antichrist

Every now and then, you stumble across a band that makes you sit up and listen. That’s exactly what happened when I randomly discovered Andy & the Antichrist while scrolling through Apple Music in search of something fresh. From the first track, they blew me away. Their sound—a thrilling blend of garage, indie, and punk—is raw, energetic, and addictive.

Despite my best efforts to dig deeper, there’s not much about them online. I don’t even know the band members’ names, which only adds to their mysterious appeal. What I do know is that they claim to have “the most irresistible rhythm section in the Netherlands,” and based on what I’ve heard, it’s not just bravado.

With two albums and a collection of singles under their belt, Andy & the Antichrist are carving out their own lane in the music scene. I’ve reached out to their team to find out if a U.S. tour is on the horizon because seeing them live is officially on my bucket list. In the meantime, I’d love to see more live performance videos from them on YouTube—it feels like the kind of raw energy that could take their music to a whole new level.

If you’re on the hunt for a band that defies easy categorization and delivers pure sonic adrenaline, Andy & the Antichrist should definitely be on your radar. An awesome find, indeed.
