Minnesota music legend Bob Mould is making a triumphant return with a new album and a highly anticipated tour. The former Hüsker Dü frontman is set to release his 15th studio album, Here We Go Crazy, on March 7, 2025—a record packed with emotion, energy, and introspection.

The title track, Here We Go Crazy, has already dropped alongside a striking music video directed by Gus Black. Describing the song, Mould said, “‘Going crazy’ can mean many different things—the joy of reckless abandon, the uncertainty of the world’s future, the silence of solitude.”

A Powerhouse Lineup

Joining Mould on the album are longtime collaborators Jon Wurster (drummer for Mountain Goats and Superchunk) and Jason Narducy (bassist and touring bandmate since 2005). Their chemistry is palpable, having worked together on Mould’s last five albums, including 2020’s critically acclaimed Blue Hearts.

St. Paul Show at Palace Theatre

Bob Mould’s tour kicks off in April and includes a special stop at St. Paul’s Palace Theatre on April 19, 2025. Fans in the Midwest will have plenty of chances to catch Mould live, with other stops in Omaha (April 14), Maquoketa (April 15), Madison (April 16), Milwaukee (April 18), and two nights in Chicago (April 25-26).

Tickets for the St. Paul show go on sale to the public on January 10, following a presale that began on January 9.

The Minnesota Connection

Mould’s roots in the Minnesota music scene run deep. As a founding member of Hüsker Dü, he helped define punk and alternative music in the 1980s, earning a place among the state’s musical greats alongside The Replacements and Prince. Though now a Minnesota expat, his connection to the state remains strong, and his return to the Twin Cities is always a cause for celebration.

Get Ready to Go Crazy

Fans can look forward to an electrifying night of music from one of punk rock’s most influential artists. With new music, a powerhouse backing band, and a catalog of iconic songs, Bob Mould’s Here We Go Crazy tour is a must-see for 2025.
